STAT 121 introduces students to the fundamental statistical methods common to social science applications. Examine topics ranging from descriptive statistics, elementary probability theory, concepts of sampling and principles of statistical inference.

Learn about biology concepts in a fast and fun way specifically designed for non-science majors. Key areas of interest include the biochemistry of energy transformation, cell structure and function, molecular genetics, evolution, plant and animal physiology, and ecology.

Introduction to Modern Biology includes basic biological topics such as the nature of DNA, heredity, human genetics and the process of mutation. Forensic analysis of DNA and blood is also discussed.
